Using native BTC for gas fees, Runera bridges the Bitcoin and EVM ecosystems, combining BTC's stability with EVM's flexibility to create a robust and innovative platform.

Technical Highlight

Runera, as a Bitcoin Layer 2 solution, integrates the ZK Stark algorithm and Taproot script within a decentralized Gaming x AI framework. Given Bitcoin's limitations with complex programs, Runera executes intricate smart contracts off-chain. Taproot Script is used to verify off-chain computations on the Bitcoin blockchain, similar to bitVM. Runera also utilizes AI to compile high-level language programs into low-level opcodes off-chain. These opcodes, represented as digital circuits (logic gates), can be simulated on the Bitcoin blockchain when necessary.

According to the Runera Yellow Paper, this approach allows for off-chain execution of complex computations, with minor steps verified on-chain, akin to Ethereum Rollups like Arbitrum. Runera employs zkEVM for generating ZK Proofs, verified by off-chain validators, reducing computational and bandwidth demands on nodes. To enhance censorship resistance, Runera introduces the SVMZK scheme for sequencer censorship resistance.
